symmetry at 6000 feet

our campsite at Shale Lake was the highest up I've ever camped, at 6000 feet. It definitely got chilly at night, dropping into the 40s but by 9 AM it was already 85 degrees. The temperatures swing wildly high up in the mountains in summer.
