our wonderful campsite on Hanks Lake in the Mt Jefferson Wilderness. The closest people to us were camping at Pamelia Lake, over three miles away, and over 5 & 1/2 miles from the trailhead. The wilderness was all ours. It was worth the long slog to get up the hill.
