It seems every meal I had this weekend involved bacon. Friday night I even had dessert with bacon in it. At a potluck in Hood River, Oregon I had bacon pumpkin pie. It was incredibly good.

Here Wampler wraps a turkey in bacon before roasting it. The bacon keeps the skin from getting overcooked and the bacon makes the gravy extra amazing. Amberly in the background observes the wrapping.
