Jason lugs his snowboard up a huge hill off a Forest Service road so he can snowboard down, his first turns of the season. Jason was extremely distraught over the destruction of Hwy 35 in the crazy November storms. Without Hwy 35 you cannot get to Mt Hood Meadows. He spent over 50 days last winter snowboarding at Meadows. Construction crews are working double shifts (in the snow even) to try and reopen the road in the next few weeks.
