aw shucks!
Fresh oysters! I bought them at the Portland Farmer's Market (fresh from Netarts Bay on the Oregon coast). Elaine, Gina & I all shucked oysters for the first time (it was easier than we thought) and then ate up all the delicious oysters raw with a bunch of fresh lemon, some wasabi cocktail sauce and a yummy Pinot Noir.
Later we ate a huge fresh papaya, sliced and soaked in fresh lime juice and cayenne. mmmmmmm
