retaining its title for The Most Amazing Tidepools I've Ever Seen...Boiler Bay on the Oregon coast. I'd get up early for this any day.

This was the first time I'd ever seen a sun star. It's related to a star fish but has 20 (!!!) arms and moves a lot faster (meaning you can actually see it move unlike a star fish). It was HUGE (over a foot in diameter) and it looked to me like something that wants to attach itself to your face and suck the life out of you. just a thought...
