Our hope for a borrowed fire bowl fell through so we resorted to burning twigs on the votives. Since it was our upstairs neighbor's birdbath, not mine, I had to put the kibosh on birdbath fire. As the party numbers dwindled we shifted locations, throwing the keg in the back of Paul's truck and starting a big fire in Elaine & Gina's backyard chiminea just a few blocks away.
