I'm going to climb this mountain
I'm taking a mountaineering class to learn some technical skills (though you can climb Mt Adams later in the summer without them I'd still like to learn and climb Mt Hood some day soon). I opted out of the second part of the class where we attempt to summit Mt Adams. Instead I asked my friend Jason, who lives in Trout Lake and works for the Forest Service, if he would take me to the top of Mt Adams this summer. He's offered in the past so I wasn't surprised when he agreed, just happy. I literally jumped up and down and grinned.

I am going to climb this mountain.

Mt Adams 12,277 feet. I love this mountain. I love this place. I love my friends. Yeah!
