We stopped at Merryvale Vineyards in St Helena, a town in Napa Valley. We did a wine tasting of their reds. We got hooked up with a couple, one of whom worked at another winery. She pulled out her card and got us a table in the special tasting area and a 33% discount on my bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon that I bought. How serendipitous!
