I've just crossed over the Hood River Bridge, coming over the Columbia River and into Washington. I'm looking west towards Portland before I head north up Trout Lake.

I love the Gorge. I very clearly remember driving through this area in the moving truck as we moved to Portland from Wisconsin. I flipped out knowing that this was so close to where I would live. I get to see this all the time!
